Vestige of prehistoric earthquake to be found in Yangshao site of Xinjie,Lantian County,Shanxi Province

Doubtful natural deformation phenomena were disclosed during salvage digging in Yangshao site of Xinjie,Lantian county.Seismological and archaeological investigator made a research on the site together with,it is consider initially that vestiges of prehistoric earthquake were existent indeed,which showed culture stratum were dislocated,sand and clay intermix and liquefaction of sand soil,the deformation belt was approximate to tending to S-N and E-W.The result of pilot study showed the research site underwent seismic deformation process.
