Substituted 2- (2'-pyridyloxy) benzeneacetamides, their preparation and use, and compositions containing them

The invention relates to substituted 2-(2'-pyridyloxy)phenyl acetamides of formula (I), in which the substituents have the following meaning: R = fluorine, chlorine, CH3 or halomethane; R = fluorine, bromine, alkyl or halomethane; R = hydrogen or one of the radicals cited in R and additionally R = 6-chlorine when R stands for hydrogen, R = 5-chlorine when R stands for fluorine, and the compound in which R , R and R stand for chlorine, whereby R cannot stand for chlorine when R stands for 5- trifluoromethyl and R represents hydrogen. The invention further relates to the methods for the production and the use thereof to combat fungi and animal pests.
