The invention discloses a method for preparing a polyester carbonate/acrylonitrile-butadience-styrene copolymer. The method chooses maleic anhydride grafted ethylene-octene copolymer/organic modified needle-shaped wollastonite compound flexibilizer as raw materials, i.e. both organic and inorganic rigid granular flexibilizers are used, the maleic anhydride grafted ethylene-octene copolymer, organic modified needle-shaped wollastonite and polyester carbonate/acrylonitrile-butadience-styrene copolymer are melted and blended in a double screw extruder to achieve a high-performance alloy material. The polyester carbonate/acrylonitrile-butadience-styrene copolymer prepared by the method has excellent comprehensive mechanical performance and dimensional stability; the notch impact strength is as high as 1050J/m, the elongation at break is 145 percent, the tensile strength reaches 65.5MPa, the bending strength is 96.5MPa, the flexural modulus is up to 2850MPa, and the heat distortion temperature is as high as 115.5 DEG C under high load (1.82MPa). The copolymer is applicable to manufacturing internal and external decorative articles of autos, household appliances, IT products and other industrial products.
