Диалог, пропаганда, ценности и СМИ: о победе наррации в совре-менном информационном поле России

The information field in modern Russia is characterized by the development of narrative trends and a concomitant reduction of the space for dialogue. This article studies the growing conflict between the media  and the social mission of journalism. Possible approaches to the study of these processes are reviewed with the objective of formulating the idea according to which the mission and role of journalism in Russia must be revised as an institutional phenomena.
