The Diagnostic Value of Positive Index during Exercise Test in Coronary Heart Disease

2006
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of positive index during exercise test in coronary heart disease(CAD).Methods 156 patients accepted the treadmill exercise test and coronary angiography(CAG).Observe the relationship between the positive index of the treadmill exercise test and CAG.Results There were 8 patients showed ST segment elevation and all showed positive in CAG;116 patients showed ST segment depression and 84 of them showed positive in CAG;22 patients showed T wave normalization and 14 of them showed positive in CAG;10 patients showed arrhythmia in exercise test, only 4 of them showed positive in CAG.Conclusion ST segment elevation is a good index for diagonosing CAD.There was no difference between T wave normalization and ST segment depression in exercise test for diagnosing CAD.So T wave normalization can worked as a marker for diagnosing CAD,the value of arrhythmia is a not good index for diagnosing CAD.
