A variable capacity turbine, comprising: a fluid space, the fluid space is formed by a nozzle mount and nozzle plate; and a plurality of nozzle vanes (27), the plurality of the nozzle vanes are arranged in the fluid space, along circumferentially spaced air at intervals the fluid space is divided, and respectively a rotatable axially supported on the nozzle mount on the flow path sectional area formed by adjacent nozzle vanes (27) for fluid opening and closing the adjustable outflowing of flow, the mouth plate, at least as compared to the position of the end surface having the nozzle vanes (27) and the side projecting portion projecting (41) toward the nozzle vanes (27), and the projecting portion of the nozzle vanes (27) be between the cover and the rear edge side of the nozzle vanes (27) adjacent (42) the leading edge side of the nozzle vanes (27) at the closed position (40).
