The passenger flow information collection method comprises the steps of performing entering and leaving detection of passenger flow objects on a target scene; determining refined attribute data of passenger flow entering and leaving from the target scene, wherein the refined attribute data at least comprises a target quantity of the passenger flow objects entering and leaving from the target scene at the same moment in the detected passenger flow objects; and executing collection operation on passenger flow information of the target scene, wherein the collection operation on the passenger flow information of the target scene at least comprises operation of selecting a first counting module corresponding to a predetermined number-of-people range which the target quantity belongs to from a plurality of first counting modules to perform processing operation of adding 1 to a count value, and the first counting modules are in one-to-one correspondence with the predetermined number-of-people ranges. Through the scheme, the purpose of collecting the passenger flow information with relatively high analytic values in the aspects of commercial analysis, data deep mining and the like can be achieved.
