MSV FENNICA, NEW OPERATIONAL PROFILE FOR AN ICEBREAKER

MSV FENNICA has been built and designed to perform three separate operations: to operate as an escort icebreaker in the northern Baltic; to support North Sea operations in the summer season and Arctic support operations, such as research or offshore exploration support. The operational efficiency and experience in all three operating modes is evaluated in this paper.
