Effects of Pr Doping on Thermoelectric Transport Properties of Ca3-xPrxCo4O9.

Powders of the title compounds with x = 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 are prepared by the sol—gel method starting with stoichiometric amounts of Ca(NO3)2, Pr(NO3)3, and Co(NO3)2 dissolved in aqueous citric acid solution (heating of the obtained gel at 1073 K for 8 h).
