Device for utilization of combustion heat energy of ventilation air methane

2012
A device for utilization of combustion heat energy of ventilation air methane comprises a main pipe provided with a methane inlet and a high-temperature flue gas outlet, a combustor and a return pipe. The device is characterized in that a plurality of copper pipes are uniformly arranged in the main pipe along the axial direction, the cavity of the main pipe and the cavity of each copper pipe form two spaced heat exchange channels via a porous fixed baffle at two ends of each copper pipe, and a first heat exchange channel formed by the copper pipes has one end connected with the high-temperature flue gas outlet and the other end connected with a gas outlet of the return pipe; a second heat exchange channel enclosed by an inner wall of the main pipe and an outer wall of each copper pipe is communicated with the methane inlet; and the combustor has an inlet communicated with a gas outlet of the second heat exchange channel and a gas outlet connected with a gas inlet of the return pipe. The inventive device adopts a pipe-in-pipe structure, allows combusted high-temperature flue gas to flow in the plurality of copper pipes and exchange heat with ventilation air methane flowing in gaps among the copper pipes, and can preheat ventilation air methane by self combustion, to achieve full utilization of combustion heat energy of ventilation air methane.
