Vessel for preservation and transfer of nematodes

PURPOSE: To provide the vessel which allows the easy and rapid recovery of the nematodes on carrier parents at a high yield, further obviates the inclusion of the small pieces of the carriers into the recovered and separated nematodes suspension and does not hinder the apparatus to be used. CONSTITUTION: This vessel for the preservation and transfer of the nematodes consists of a hermetically sealable vessel and has a first chamber 23 for housing the carrier parents 26 of the nematodes, a second chamber 24 for easily recovering the nematodes from these parents and a nematodes permeable intermediate part 25 for holding the carrier parents in the first chamber.
