Analysis of the effect caused by the nodal moment on the steel long-cantilever truss

According to the field strain inspection on the steel long-cantilever truss, the result shows that the effect of the nodal moment on the truss can't be ignored, especially on the web member. The effect should be considered in the design. Based on comparing the actual data with the result of finite element analysis in two kinds of modeling using ANSYS, different analysis method should be used in designing the chord and the web member in the similar trusses.
