The oral history of story-telling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect can not only show the multi-ele ment and personalized history with all information , but also provides important perceptive and sources for the cul ture and social studies in the areas south of the Yangtze River. This one-hundred year oral history will take artists as the center , accompanied by art history , history of bibliographic tradition , the evolution of genres , the book mar ket history and community history from the multi-dimensional experiences as well as the interactive relationships in areas south of the Yangtze River.
