Ranking and Performance Evaluation of Metal Companies by Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making

The purpose of this paper is to propose a framework based on the Fuzzy Multiple Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) approach for ranking firms by using financial ratios. Proposed approach is based on Logarithmic Fuzzy Preference Programming (LFPP) and VIKOR methods. LFPP method is used in determining the weights of the criteria by decision makers and then rankings of the firms are determined by VIKOR method. Implementing this framework is demonstrated in a real case involving Metal companies in Tehran Stock Exchange.
