EFEITOS DE DIFERENTES TAMANHOS DE FRAGMENTOS FLORESTAIS SOBRE A DENSIDADE, QUALIDADE DA COPA E FUSTE DA ANDIROBA, SUDESTE DO PARÁ

2020
In the middle of a environment of heterogeneity, the fragmentation has shown different effects and interactions, the objective of this study was to compare the density, crown quality and height of the stem of the Andiroba ( Carapa guianensis , Aublet) species in different sizes of forest fragments, in the Praia Alta-Piranheiras Agricultural-Extractivist Settlement Project, southeastern  Para.  The  methodology  involved floristic inventory in three areas of fragments large (> 50 hectares) and three fragments small (<50 hectares). The ind / ha density, crown quality and height of the stem (m) were compared between the fragments through ANOVA - test F. The results show that there was no statistical difference of the variables studied in the different sizes of forest fragments, such similarity could be related to environmental factors, as well as anthropic actions, this work suggests that other variables be investigated among them the anthropic action, as well as to test other sizes of forest fragments.
