The Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland: Fellowship By Assessment

Julia Quickfall explains the benefits of QNIS’s Fellowship By Assessment award for those nurses who decide to apply for it. The Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland (QNIS) provides a Fellowship By Assessment (FBA) programme for nurses working in primary healthcare teams, including district nurses, practice nurses and health visitors (The Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland 2005). The FBA award is designed to recognise nurses working in the community who achieve an excellent standard of practice in their everyday management of patient care.
