Small file processing method and device

The present invention provides a small file processing method with regard to deletion of repeated data in massive small files. Small files are integrated to be a big file and the integrated big file is divided into blocks. During the division, if a current data block being formed comprises a tail of a small file, the current data block needs to be ended with the tail of said small file. Operations such as searching for repeated data is performed after the integrated big file is divided into blocks. Therefore, the efficiency of deleting repeated data in small files is improved.
