Design and implementation of outdoor augmented reality system based on ARToolKit

Augmented reality(AR)is a technology that overlays virtual image and information generated by computer on real world seen by the user ,it can enhance the vision system of people.ARToolKit provides a convenient and quick tool to develo PAR application ,the author brings about the structure of outdoor AR based on GPS and digital compass after understanding the principle and work flow of it,and displays the experiments done during our researching.
