Analysis of interaction between HVDC and offshore wind power in receiving end grid

This paper studies the interaction characteristics of voltage and frequency between HVDC and offshore wind farm in receiving end power grid. Based on the concept of multi infeed DC interactive influence, propose a fast calculation method for evaluating the interaction. Analyses the interaction between HVDC and offshore wind farm from the electrical distance between them, the equivalent impedance of the access point system, and the control strategy of UHVDC and offshore wind turbines. The results show that the smaller the electrical distance between HVDC and offshore wind power, the greater the equivalent impedance of the access point system, the more obviously interaction effect. It can also get that the control mode of DC inverter side, the reactive power control mode of offshore wind power and the low voltage control strategy have obvious influence on the interaction.
