Interactive effects of Perceived Organizational Politics and Person environment Fit on employee outcomes in Banking Sector of Pakistan

Study proposed a model for exploring the moderating effect of person environment fit on relationship between perceived organizational politics and organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. The proposed model has been tested statistically using data collected from 238 respondents from private sector banking organizations. Results based on moderation effects support the hypothesis that person environment fit is a good moderator on relationship between perceived organizational politics and organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. In simple words, domination of person environment fit will result in controlled negative consequences of politics. Recommendations for the future research along with theoretical and practical implications of the study have been given.
