Dynamically induced disorder in the vortex lattice of 2{ital H}-NbSe{sub 2}

We report on combined transport and magnetic decoration studies of pinned and moving vortex structures in the low-field ({lt}100 Oe) regime. Thermal and current annealing processes show that the pinned equilibrium state of the vortex array has fewer topological defects than that observed when the structure first starts to become unpinned, and more defects than observed at high vortex velocities.
