Decrease of DNA synthesis in duodenal crypt cells of rats treated with Na3 (Ca-DTPA)

Abstract DNA synthesis in crypt cells of rat duodenum, as assayed by the labelling index ( 3 H-thmidine), is diminished 10–14 hr after subcutaneous administration of the calcium chelate of diethylenetriaminepentaacetate (2 mmole/ kg).
