Establishment of SSR fingerprint map and analysis of genetic similarity among 56 backbone parental lines in hybrid rice.

56 backbone parental lines in hybrid rice,including 24 cytoplasmic male sterile lines and 32 restorer lines,were analyzed by using 14 SSR(simple sequence repeats) primer pairs selected from 48 SSR of National Standard that disperse on 12 chromosomes in rice.A total of 48 polymorphic bands were detected among 56 lines,and each primer pair was detected 3.43 alleles on average.Result from cluster analysis showed that genetics similarities among the 56 lines ranged from 0.63 to 0.98.As expected,the result of cluster reflected basically the genetic relatives based on the pedigree analysis.
