AGORA-PL: uma proposta para desenvolvimento de famílias de sistemas colaborativos baseados em VGI para a gestão do risco de inundação

2014
Volunteered Geographic Information, usually known as VGI, can be a valuable source of information about the impacts of natural disasters. This work is part of a research project about flood risk management, developed by an interdisciplinary group, which aims to develop a geospatial open collaborative architecture for building resilience against floods and their impacts. The approach combines data from a sensor network, climate change models, volunteers information, and research results to provide early warnings and forecasts of long-term risk. In terms of systematization, Software Product Line (SPL) can be applied in this domain since flexibility and reuse are main goals required for development of complex applications based on Geospatial Web Services. The main contributions of this work were twofold: (i) insertion of reuse in the context of flood risk management; and (ii) redefinition of feature model, aimed at creating a framework to support and systematization the generation of families of Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS).
