The invention provides a composite rear panel for solar cells. The composite rear panel sequentially comprises a first rear panel, a second rear panel and a third rear panel. Adhesion layers are further arranged between the first rear panel and the second rear panel and between the second rear panel and the third rear panel, and the first rear panel is adjacently connected with an EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) adhesive membrane for the solar cells. The composite rear panel is characterized in that the first rear panel is a polyvinylidene fluoride membrane; the second rear panel is a polyethylene terephthalate membrane; the third rear panel is a polycarbonate-calcium fluoride-polyvinylidene fluoride composite membrane. The invention further provides a method for manufacturing the composite rear panel for the solar cells. According to the technical scheme, the composite rear panel and the method have the advantages that the composite rear panel for the solar cells is high in sunlight reflectivity, ultraviolet rays in air can be blocked, and the ageing resistance of the composite rear panel can be enhanced; infrared rays further can be diffused, accordingly, the temperature of the composite rear panel can be lowered, good radiating effects can be realized, and the service life of the composite rear panel can be prolonged.
