Organic Semiconductor Devices Modeling for TCAD and ECAD Applications

The technology and electronic computer-aided design (TCAD and ECAD) are heavily used to speed up the iterative circle of process, device and circuit development and optimization in silicon electronics. The TCAD and ECAD could be a similar driving force for organic electronics provided that the TCAD and ECAD software tools are equipped with predictive organic semiconductor (OSC) device models. The main goal of this study is to present the current status and trends in physical modeling of OSC devices for application in TCAD and ECAD tools.
