An Improved Canny Algorithm of Edge-Detection

This paper recommends the traditional algorithm of Canny in image edge-detection,and gives the problems and the short-ages of the algorithm,based on this,the paper gives an improved algorithm. The improved algorithm adopts four-threshold value method to locate the edge,and at the same time,it can enhance the capability of suppressing noise. Experimental results indicate the feasibility and validity of the improved algorithm,and also it gives the study direction for the future.
