Observations on the suitability of the signal at g = 2.0040 for ESR dating of secondary carbonates

1994
Abstract Most secondary carbonates display a broad ESR signal at g = 2.0040, but the characteristics of this signal vary. From observations using a variety of Australian and Chinese secondary carbonates, it appears that the signal may often be suitable for the estimation of accumulated doses, provided certain precautions are taken.
