PERANAN KEPIMPINAN NEGARA DALAM ERA PANDEMIK COVID -19 DI MALAYSIA [THE ROLE OF NATIONAL LEADERSHIP DURING THE ERA OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN MALAYSIA]

Abstrak: Artikel ini akan membincangkan sejauh mana cabaran dan peranan kepimpinan negara dalam era pandemik covid-19  di Malaysia. Malaysia tidak terkecuali dalam menghadapi krisis pandemik covid-19 yang semakin menular di seluruh dunia bahkan ini merupakan isu besar yang perlu dihadapi oleh kepimpinan negara pada masa kini. Cabaran kepimpinan sangat besar dan pemimpin sentiasa bersedia serta proaktif mengharungi pandemik ini dalam memastikan aspek kemanusiaan kepada masyarakat diutamakan. Walaupun hakikatnya krisis ini tidak dapat dielak, namun pendekatan sesuai mesti diambil untuk mencegah berlaku konflik dalam kalangan kepimpinan negara. Kajian ini menggariskan tiga objektif utama iaitu peranan kepimpinan dalam masyarakat, kepimpinan Rasulullah sebagai modal kepimpinan negara dan kredibiliti pemimpin dalam menangani masalah yang timbul. Kaedah yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah analisis konseptual melalui analisis dokumen terhadap penulisan dan kajian lepas yang berkaitan dengan skop kajian ini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan karakter kepimpinan penting untuk membawa masyarakat ke arah yang lebih produktif serta mampu menangani krisis besar yang dihadapi negara dengan lebih efisien dan efektif.  Agenda utama negara bagi menjamin kestabilan politik, sosial dan ekonomi. Kepimpinan yang mempunyai nilai kritikal yang tinggi mampu memberi momentum terhadap pertubuhan ekonomi negara. Kesepaduan dan kolaborasi antara kepimpinan dan masyarakat penting dalam memacu pembangunan negara setanding dengan negara maju yang lain. Abstract: This article will be discussing on the extent of the national leadership role during the era of covid-19 pandemic that is still continuously spreading around the globe, besides, it is one of the serious issues that need to be managed by current national’s leadership.  The leadership challenges is consider huge and the leaders are always in the ready position and proactive in facing this pandemic, hence the aspect of humanity towards society able to be prioritized. Despite that this crisis is unavoidable, yet the appropriate approaches must be opted to prevent conflicts among national leadership. This research underlines three main objectives which are the role of leadership in society, the leadership of Rasulullah as the model of national leadership and the leadership credibility in dealing with the arises problem. This research used conceptual analysis through document analysis of related literatures and previous researches. The findings show that the leadership character is important in bringing up the productive society cum able to face the serious crisis of the country efficiently and effectively. The main aim of the country is to ensure the stability of politic, social and economy. Integration and collaboration between leadership and society is important in driving the country’s development on par with other developed countries.
