Determination of rosiglitazone tablets by polyvinyl chloride membrane ion-selective electrode

A new polyvinyl chloride membrane-rosiglitazone ion-selective electrode based on rosiglitazone and mercuric iodide salts association complex was prepared.The electrode showed Nernst response for rosiglitazone with a slope of 54mV / pC in the concentration range of 1.3×10-6-1.1×10-2mol·L-1.The detection limit is 3.5×10-7mol·L-1.The electrode has been used for the determination of rosiglitazone tablets.The results are consistent with the results obtained by HPLC method.
