Anterolateral femoral perforator flap for patients with soft tissue defect of hand trauma

2018
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of anterolateral femoral perforator flap and abdominal pedicle flap for those patients with soft tissue defect of hand trauma. Methods A retrospective study was performed on 95 cases of patients with hand trau-ma who were admitted from January 2009 to December 2015.Patients were divided into the anterolateral femoral perforator repair group (AFPR group,n=48)and abdominal pedicle repair group(APR group,n=47).Patients in the AFPR group were repaired with antero-lateral femoral perforator flap;the others in the APR group were repaired with abdominal pedicle flap. The curative effects were com-pared between the two groups. Results The passing rate of functional recovery in AFPR group(91.7%)was higher than that in APR group(65.9%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The mean value of pressure sensation in the AFPR group was 0.87 g,in the APR group was 0.37 g,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Anterolateral femo-ral perforator flap in repairing soft tissue defects of hand trauma is better than abdominal pedicle flap in the aspects of functional recov-ery and pressure sensation.
