ABSTRACT Through an authentic deed that clearly defines rights and obligations guarantee legal certainty, and at the same time it is hoped that disputes can be avoided. In a juridical sense, the proof is only needed in a case before the The court, be it a civil or criminal case, thus, if there is no dispute, the proof is not necessary. In this research, the the writer will discuss the problem regarding, What is the responsibility of a notary as a General Officer for notary deeds as evidence which is considered invalid or legally flawed? Where the purpose of this research is to find out how the responsibility of the notary as a general office to the notary deed as evidence which is considered invalid or legally flawed. In writing this research, the juridical normative approach is used, which focuses on literature research that describes secondary data, namely primary legal materials in the form of laws and regulations, secondary legal materials such as books and scientific papers are written by legal experts and related to the topic. research and tertiary legal materials in the form of a Big Indonesian Dictionary and a Legal Language Dictionary. The scope of this research is on issues related to the power of proof of deeds, there functions and roles. This study aims to investigate, discuss, describe and present a problem related to the power of proof of a Notary's deed. The problem raised in this paper is entitled "POSITION OF NOTARY NOTARY NOT HAVE LEGAL STRENGTH OR CANCEL BY LAW". This study aims to answer questions about the legal consequences of the notary deed. The type of research used is juridical normative, namely research conducted based on legal materials and by collecting data, studying books in the library and the laws and regulations related to this research..
