Los ensanches menores en la ciudad actual: dinámicas y problemáticas

An urban diagnosis is made of the extensions of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in fifteen medium-size cities of Spain. It compares its recent evolution and current situation to identify analogies and differences in the main processes and problems. The urban landscape is the starting point to establish interactions between the morphological, environmental, economic and social aspects, wich must be known to achieve sustainable urban development.
