A glass surface foreign matter checking device, a glass surface foreign matter checking machine adopting the glass surface foreign matter checking device, and a glass surface foreign matter checking method, comprising a laser unit (21), a base platform (22) and an image sensing unit (23). The surface of the base platform (22) is provided with a light absorption material (25), for absorbing laser beams emitted from the laser unit (21) to the back surface of a glass plate, so that the image sensing unit cannot receive laser beams reflected by the back surface of the glass plate. The device has a simple structure, and the method is easy to operate, prevents interference due to foreign matter on the back surface of a glass plate when checking foreign matter on the front surface of the glass plate, prevents misjudgement, and improves the checking accuracy rate.
