Clinical study about hysteroscopic cercical cone-electrocision on 391 women with cervical diseases

Objective: To eveluate the value of diagnosis an d therapy of the hysteroscopic cervival cone-electrocision on cervical diseases. Methods: Descriptive retrospective study, between 1999 and 2004, 391 women with cervical diseases were treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University with comparing their cervical cytology and their pathological results of colposcopic biopsy and cervical metuliform. Results: The rate of pathological conformity between cervical electrocision and vaginoscopy was 61.6%(241/391). TCT of 143 women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) all were negative after electrocision per 3 months. Conclusions: Women with cervical diseases,especially CIN, now have a number of treatment options, our study showed that hysteroscopic cervical cone-electrocision can identify the stage of the lesion and determin the next management,especailly for the patients who want to preserve their fertility.
