An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the detection of marine caliciviruses
1994
Abstract An indirect, sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of antigens of vesicular exanthema, San Miguel sea lion viruses and other marine caliciviruses is described. The assay which uses rabbit and guinea-pig antisera to purified antigens of each calicivirus serotype has high sensitivity and is almost totally type-specific.
