At present, pets are considered as one more member of families, institutions or organizations, for this reason, their care and feeding is essential. It is important to mention that the pet market in Colombia has been growing in recent years. Euromonitor projections estimate that this year it will move US $ 1,184.5 million ($ 4.3 trillion) and that in the last five years spending on 'pet care', which groups both food and products (accessories, health and wellness, supplements and others ) has increased 63%; In addition to this, manufacturers, distributors and stores have adapted during the pandemic to market through digital channels. (Becerra, 2020). Pets in general provide their owner with: fidelity, love, fun and company; contributions in growth and learning of children and adults; protection and security, among other attributes that domestic animals. That is why the proposal of the project that includes the creation of an online and physical pet store is proposed, in order to meet the needs of the owners in terms of food and accessories for their pets, based on the above, The physical store will have a sale of dry and wet food, accessories such as toys, clothing, necklaces, food cups, brushes, among others, and hygiene items. In addition, sales will also be via the internet, due to the innovation that is currently being presented with digital platforms and the profit that this generates. It is important to highlight that the company will have a presence in the south of Bogota D.C. The methodology used is of a mixed nature; qualitative, through case studies and documentary analysis for the preparation of the market, technical and organizational study; and quantitative in terms of conducting the financial study. In order to comply with the outlined proposal, the aspects related to the characterization of the project will be presented, for which the project idea is described, the approach and formulation of the problem and the objectives to be achieved with it will be carried out. This in turn implies being able to carry out the delimitation and scope of the project and the idea to be developed. Subsequently, a study of the context of the project idea will be developed, starting from an economic analysis of the sector to which the business is aimed, which is mainly towards the commercialization of accessories for pets, analyzing the macro and micro environment in which the project would develop. deal. And, to conclude, it will be carried out in four phases that constitute: Carrying out a market study in order to learn about new trends in the pet food sector through: demand analysis, market demand projection, suppliers, competitors, market segmentation (geographic, demographic, socio-economic behavioral and psychographic) and definition of the average sales of a store; the preparation of a technical study in order to define the products that owners usually buy for their pets (dog or cat) through: marketing system, marketing plan defining company size, equipment and implements, location and distribution of headquarters; the construction of an organizational study to define the administrative processes, necessary technology and the conditions for the constitution of the company through the name of the company and corporate image, strategic direction and constitution and formalization of the same; and, finally, the realization of a financial study to evaluate the viability of the project through the initial investment, costs, breakeven point, sales budget, initial financial statements, projections and financial analysis. However, there are limitations regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, since opening a physical store in full decline can be unfavorable, additionally, the constant closures of trade due to strict quarantine are added, which are more accentuated in the country's capital.
