New Advances in Robotic Surgery in Hip and Knee Replacement

2020
Abstract Despite the success of hip and knee arthroplasty, risks of failure due to component malposition remain a problem. Robotic technology is now available to surgeons for use in hip and knee arthroplasties to increase the precision of planning and placement of components. This chapter reviews the key aspects of robotic hip and knee surgery and aims at providing an update of this technology.
