Preparation and characterization of porous ceramic membrane from natural zeolite

Porous ceramic tubes have been fabricated by extrusion from natural zeolite.The influences of the sintering temperature and hold time on the microstructure of the porous ceramics were studied.In addition,the permeability of N_2 and water,the flexural strength and thermal shock performance of the ceramic membranes made at different sintering temperature were tested.At the same time,we try to explain the relationship between the performance of the material and above characteristic of the membranes was discussed.
