A shortlist of pre-selected journals is the starting point to evaluate and compare titles against a wide range of criteria. Ultimately, this will help determine which journal best suits your needs. The comparison and evaluation tool has been designed to take you through a series of questions about your choice of journal and the associated publisher. Where possible and relevant, hyperlinks will direct you to the specific tools or resources to answer questions. A positive response is recorded and tallied to give you a comparison between your pre-selected titles. Specific quantitative metrics and other indicators are also gathered and reported for you to consider. Once you have completed all five sections you can compare journals by title, publisher and criteria, to assess the performance of each.
