Ethics: essence for sustainability

Abstract This paper aims to demonstrate ethics as being an essential element in order to achieve sustainability. This will be taken throughout the crisis of the development model rhetoric upon which western society is established and with the foundation of information systems as interference factors to environmental consciousness.
