The application of frame-based approach in teaching biochemistry

Objective To evaluate the application effect of frame type teaching methods to the higher vocational education students of nursing program in biochemistry teaching.Methods Grade 2008,316 nursing students of Zhangye Medical College were chosen as the study object.The liberal arts students were the same with the science students,the liberal arts students were divided into two groups,the experimental group and the control group.The science students were divided into two groups,the experimental group and the control group.The experimental group took the frame type teaching method.The control group took the traditional teaching method.Results The various investigation indexes with the science students and the liberal arts students in the experimental group and the control group all have statistical significance (P < 0.05 ),all the experimental group are higher than the control group.There are significant differences in three indexes through the comparison of the effect between liberal arts students and the science students ( P < 0.05 ),the liberal arts students are higher than the science students.Conclusions The teaching effect is better of frame type teaching method than that of the traditional teaching method in improving student's comprehensive ability,application ability,learning ability and promoting student' s learning enthusiasm and so on,especially for liberal arts student.
