Decorating preparations in general are complex solutions of the organo-metallic compounds of coloring, additive or precious metals (e.g. mercaptides or resinates of Ag, Au, Pb, Bi, Cr, Rh, V, Cu, Sn, Si, Ti, U etc.) with admixtures of the organic binding agents and thinners [1]. In order to achieve a quality decorative layer the applicable technological process shall be strictly controlled, starting from the glass surface cleaning, to the thickness of applied layer of the decorative preparation to the strictly monitored firing in the furnace [1, 2, 3].
