The induction of aryl hydrocarbon hydroxylase (AHH) of carp (Cyprinus carpio) liver microsome by seven dyes

2001
The aryl hydrocarbon hydroxylase (AHH) activity of carp (Cyprinus Carpio) liver microsome induced by seven dyes was examined. The all tested dyes induced AHH activity to different extent. The AHH activity increased according to the increase of the dye concentration. The intense of AHH activity induced by seven dyes was as following order: acid red B>acid complex blue RRN>weak acid brilliant red B>reactive brilliant red K-2BP>reactive brilliant red K-2G, acid mordant red S-80>disperse red E-4B. The intense of AHH activity was related to the toxicity of the chemicals.
