Criação da Comissão de Pesquisa do Grupo de Enfermagem do Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre

The aim of this work is to relate the trajectory of a research commission at Rio Grande do Sul Federal Universitary Hospital, created in 1993. The commission purpouse is to estimulate nurses in research development. It is formed by nurses from the hospital and teachers from the Nursing School. The principal actions are: research divulgation in “Meeting Points”, development of a “Informative Journal”, and organization of Universitary Extension courses to provide nurses with research skills. The experience is new, but already shows a successful work, in wich assistencial and teaching nurses search for best practices with good cientific works.
