Приморские эстуарные поселения двустворчатого моллюска Corbicula japonica Prime, 1864 обладают низкой изменчивостью гена цитохромоксидазы (i)

2013
First assessed intraspecific genetic variability of estuarine bivalve Corbicula japonica Prime, 1864 from different reservoirs of Primorsky Krai Russia Far East according to the first partial sequencing of the gene subunits of cytochrome oxide kinase (COI) mitochondrial DNA. Comparative analysis of genotypes allowed us to establish the test specimens belonging to the Sea of Japan haplogroup C. japonica. It was established that the analyzed gene portion is highly conserved among COI specimens from geographically remote locations which, on one hand, may indicate all the individuals belonging to the same species, C. japonica and on the other hand a recent check clams in estuaries south of Primorye.
