Опыт и перспективы применения технологии бассейнового моделирования в ООО «Газпромнефть НТЦ»

At first the models were created for basins of the Black Sea and the Eastern Siberia. The experience indicated the advantages of basin modeling technology and the main challenges such as lack of data, the software limitations and need оf additional specialized trainings, new approaches and skills. The decision was made to develop skills in both areas. As soon as the competences in basin modeling grow it will be possible to create constant living updating models for the regions of Gazpromneft JSC business activity. These regional models could be used for express-assessment of license blocks and further to create detailed local models of the blocks with the background of the coarse scale regional model for resource estimation, risk assessment and predrilling pressure forecast.
