The article describes four scientific approaches to the buildingof evaluation competence formation system in future teachers' education. They are: competence, activity, system and process approaches. Each of them can be researched separately but all together they form the mainstream of the evaluation competence formation system. The author analyses here foreign and national researches in the fields of these four conditions.
