Kinetics of gas evolution in the radiolysis of brown coal and petroleum residues

This article discusses the results obtained in the formation of gases in the gamma radiolysis of brown coals from the Nazarovo, Irsha-Borodino, and from the Berezovo field in the Kansk-Achinsk basin, as well as the mazut, heavy residue and bitumen. The main characteristics of the investigated substances and the gas yields obtained in their radiolysis are given. The kinetics of hydrogen formation in the radiolysis of brown coals and petroleum residues with absorbed doses of up to 750 kGy are shown.
