Pájaros dorilos y otras aves parleras: una referencia intertextual en «La Arcadia»

This note examines an odd expression in Lope’s comedia La Arcadia : «pajaros dorilos». By examining the motif of talking birds and the etymology of the expression we defend an intertextual connection with the anonymous comedia La gran pastoral de Arcadia .
